Join our Customer Service team during the busiest weeks of the year, specifically weeks 50 and 51! We need all the extra help we can get during these weeks and that’s where you come in!
What will you do?
You will ensure that our customers' expectations are exceeded every time. With a hands-on mentality, you genuinely enjoy reaching out and helping our customers. You’ll receive one day of onboarding, where you'll receive a brief but thorough training in our software to get you up to speed for these two weeks. You will become a specialist in a specific customer topic, so you’re well-prepared to handle various situations. Plus, you'll have your own personal buddy to support you whenever you have questions. We can put your skills to good use when it comes to:
speaking to our customers neatly, smoothly and personally via different channels;
finding the ultimate mix between advising, inspiring and handling complaints;
answering all kinds of questions, handling different types of complaints and advising customers on finding the right gift;
making effective decisions that make our customers want to come back to us.
Where do you end up?
You will become part of our Customer Service team, YourSurprise's listening ear. This international team consists of 40-60 colleagues working both on Campus and remotely. These colleagues are in contact with customers from 28 different countries via phone, email and chat. The team provides support in 10-15 (native) languages and is ready to help customers with questions, give advice and solve problems in a personalized way. Everything they do is based on our mission: Spread a Little Happiness. Whether colleagues work from Zierikzee or remotely, they ensure that all customer feedback is shared internally with various teams. This allows us to continuously develop and take our service to the next level.
Who are you?
you speak and write Dutch or English fluently, besides your own native language you master another second foreign language, German or French.
you have strong experience in Customer Service;
you are available full-time from the 9th until 22nd of December (week 50 and 51);
you are available to work day shifts during the daytime (+/- 08:30-18:00);
you switch effortlessly between different means of communication;
you are positive, sociable and dare to make your own decisions;
you are eager to learn and are able to pick up things quickly.

Recruitment Process: the first interview is followed by the second interview combined with a test day. Ensure your availability for the onboarding session on the first day, where you will receive Customer Service training. You will start your new job on 9 December with the onboarding day.

We help our customers to create these special moments. We use our (social media) channels and websites to give people ideas. We offer online tools to bring those ideas to life quickly and easily. And we're here for them, even if things go wrong.
