Our B2B team is in contact with customers around the world every day, each looking for an original gift for employees, clients or associates. Your goal as an account manager is to help these customers create the ultimate gifting moment with a custom personalized gift.

What will you do?

• As an account manager, you’ll be responsible for developing sales in your market(s), with a special focus on KPIs/targets for revenue, number of gifts, and margin;

• You’ll invest in building strong relationships with (existing) customers by encouraging (repeat) purchases and upselling our business propositions, ensuring increased loyalty;

• You’ll guide the customer from the very first contact about a gift idea, to the after-sales service, evaluating the gifting moment together;

• You’ll be the link between our production floor and your business customers. You’ll ensure all orders are entered into our planning system, including all relevant order and customer information, so that our production team can get to work smoothly;

• You’ll analyze and discuss the progress within your market(s) with your team on a monthly basis, giving extra attention to your sales funnel and your realized commercial results;

• During off-peak periods, you’ll spend part of your time on business projects with the aim of improving our processes or marketing, or will actively enter new business markets, based on sales opportunities we see in the market.

Where you'll be?

As an account manager you will be part of our E-Commerce team, consisting of 40 colleagues and over ten different nationalities. The B2B team is part of this, consisting of 8 colleagues who assist all of our YourSurprise business customers by phone or email. This is also an international team, with colleagues from France, Germany and the Netherlands, with English as the working language within the team. You’ll also work closely with the new business account manager, who will transfer new leads and customer orders to you.

Who we're looking for?

• You have at least 2 years of experience in sales and are available for at least 32 hours per week;

• You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of multiple languages is a plus);

• You have a hands-on mentality and a great track record of achieving sales results;

• Negotiation is not a problem with your persuasiveness: you are strong on your feet;

• You’re flexible and work well under pressure;

• You’re result-oriented and can handle working with deadlines;

• You’re able to use your creativity to turn each customer contact into an opportunity and come up with an appropriate gift solution for every situation;

• You’re a reliable team player and take your responsibilities seriously;

• You are able to work from our Campus in Zierikzee.
